Ladybird will have our booth set up for this year’s Greenbelt Harvest Picnic at Christie Lake in Dundas. So excited to be there again! We absolutely love this festival.
September Seventh Entertainment Limited announced the first round of performers for the 2016 Harvest Picnic. The list includes Jann Arden, The Jim Cuddy Band, Alan Doyle & The Beautiful Gypsies, Joel Plaskett Emergency, Rheostatics, Great Lake Swimmers, Cowboy Junkies & many more. A second day has been added to the festival featuring headliner Johnny Reid, who will be joined by country song-writing legend Ian Tyson, new country act Autumn Hill, local alt-country songwriter Lori Yates, country and folk songwriter Sylvia Tyson, Calgary-based roots artist JJ Shiplett and folk/rock group, The Redhill Valleys. A third day has been added with Ryan Adams as the headliner and many more bands to be announced!
The 2016 Harvest Picnic takes place on Friday August 26th, Saturday August 27th and Sunday the 28th at Christie Lake Conservation Area in Dundas, Ontario. Gates open at 11AM and show starts at 12PM. The event serves to celebrate the importance of the Greenbelt, local farmers, art, the outdoors and the eat-local movement. Ladybird will be included as one of the many vendors!
This awesome day of music, fresh air and local food never disappoints!
