Paco
The Ladybird Animal Sanctuary rescued Paco from Hamilton Animal Control where he ended up after his owner was unable to care for him any longer. It was pretty obvious when we rescued Paco that he needed some serious dental work. We took him for surgery and our vet had to remove 10 of his teeth! Poor guy must have been in so much pain.
Paco recovered quickly and he’s now ready to find his forever home. His foster home reports that he gets along with the two other cats in the home (one of which was adopted from us and could be Paco’s long lost brother). Paco isn’t a snuggly cat for the most part, but he does enjoy the company of his human charges and likes to be close to them for pets and scratches. Paco can frighten easily, so a home with small children would not be ideal for him. Paco is a lovely older cat and he would like to find his forever home soon!
And as you can see from the video…Paco LOVES catnip!
Paco was adopted by wonderful people!
July 2017 Update from Paco’s forever home!
“Hi there,
Just a note to let you know that Paco, our sweet tuxedo boy, adopted from your wonderful organization 3 years ago is doing very well. He is a champion mouser, loves to run from floor to floor, and seems to be quite at ease with our two dogs after some periods of uncertainty in that department. He is a treasured member of our family and a terrific early morning companion for me when I am writing. Whenever any friend mentions wanting to adopt a pet, we urge them to come to you.
Happy Canada Day,
Marnie, Janette, Paco, Hank, and Piper”
