In 2014, Ladybird Animal Sanctuary rescued Twinkle and her seven kittens from Hamilton Animal Control where she found herself as a stray. Twinkle had given birth in the shelter the day we rescued her. No place to have your babies! We were so thankful to have a foster home willing to take in Twinkle and her brood. The kittens grew up healthy and happy and the entire family found homes.
Unfortunately, after two years in her home, Twinkle’s adopter had to return her to us as their living situation had changed and they were not able to take her with them.
So, she is back in Ladybird’s care and looking for the perfect home again!

Here’s a note from Twinkle’s foster home:
“Twinkle is a friendly girl with a real knack for hide and seek. Twinkle finds the most amazing napping spots that will have you searching for hours, but she loves to plays and is fine meeting new people. She is a bit skittish, and some noises will have her hiding in seconds, but in no time at all she comes out looking for attention. Twinkle is so pretty and has quite a few hilarious sounds she’ll use to chat with you. If you are looking for a sassy, fluffy addition to your household, Twinkle is your girl.”

Twinkle dislikes other cats, so a cat-free home would be best for her.
