Basil would like to remind you that if you’re thinking of giving a bunny as a gift this Easter, please make it chocolate or stuffed toy rabbit. Rabbits are a 10 year commitment and thousands of ex-Easter bunnies are abandoned to shelters or into the wild each year when their novelty wears off.

Animals should never be an impulse buy or given as a gift. Make this Easter wonderful for everyone…including bunnies!
