Happy
We rescued Happy from Hamilton Animal Control.
When she came into HAC as a stray, Happy was covered in fleas and lice, she was painfully thin, she had a large infected open wound on her neck, an ulcer in one eye, and as you can see, the other eye is damaged. Despite all that, she was ‘kneading,” purring, head bonking and loving up the staff at HAC while they examined and treated her. Hence…her name.
Happy had her damaged eye removed while she was under for her spay surgery. Turned out there was a very small deformed eye in the socket that had likely been injured when she was very small. We don’t know what happened to poor Happy, but she’s recovered from her surgery and her foster home decided that she had found her forever home with them. Best thing that could happen to her after all she had been through in her short life.
Yay for Happy!
