We rescued Truffle from a high-volume shelter in Laval, Quebec.

Truffle is a very sweet guinea pig who enjoys ear and head scratches. Truffle will fall asleep on your lap or chest when you have him out for one on one time. He likes carrots, romaine lettuce, kale, apples and other fruit and veggies. He is especially fond of timothy hay, so his foster family is sure to always keep a constant supply in his cage.

We suggest a large cage or pen for guinea pig living quarters. Most of the cages sold in pet stores are far too small. C & C cages are an awesome alternative. There are loads of different design options and they’re cheap to make too!

There is a minimum adoption fee of $25 to adopt a guinea pig through Ladybird.  Adopters must have proof of proper cage/enclosure.
