Ace
We rescued Ace from Hamilton Animal Control where he found himself as a stray. When Ace first came into HAC, he had such a severe ear infection that puss was pouring out of his ear and maggots were found inside. Gross! Poor Ace must have been suffering and in pain for a long time!
Animal Control got him some basic vet care that mostly cleaned up his ear, but Ace was left with a tilted head. We rescued Ace from HAC and took him to the vet where he was neutered and his ears flushed out. Medication and love from his foster family has helped a little with the head tilt (it’s not as severe), but it’s still there. But that’s okay! Our vets have advised that it is not of any concern for his overall health, and Ace has adapted to his new view on life perfectly.
Here’s a report from Ace’s foster home:
“Ace is an absolute joy. He loves company, cuddles and showing off his adorable belly. Ace sees life from a side-ways point of view..his head tilt gives him great character, and he always appears interested in what you have to say 🙂 He’ll often even talk back with his unique chirping noise. Ace loves his sleep, and he is very often found lying on his back, belly-up, and snoring. He likes belly rubs, but not always. He loves to play, and chase laser beams! He will quickly become a best friend, and you might find that he loves your company so much that he’ll follow you from room to room. Like a dog, he’ll be waiting at the door for your arrival home. I adore this guy, and would keep him in a heartbeat if life circumstances allowed it. Consider Ace for your forever home!”
Ace found his forever home with a lovely family!
