Parker
* Parker found his forever home with lovely people! *
Parker was brought into Hamilton Animal Services as a stray. This poor little guy was suffering from a ruptured eyeball. He’s friendly and purry though, despite how he must have been feeling. On his rescue day, we got Parker to the vet and we were told the eye is beyond repair, so he had surgery to remove it. Parker did great for the surgery, he healed up perfectly in his foster home, and now he’s ready to find his forever home!
Because he’s a super playful guy and enjoys the company of the cat companions in his foster home, we’re asking that Parker go to a home where there is another cat (or cats) for him to be friends with.
Here’s a note from his foster home:
“Parker is the sweetest little kitten. He had to have his eye removed, but it doesn’t slow him down one bit! Parker keeps up with our three cats, chasing them around the house and making his presence known at feeding time. He loves to snuggle and is always looking for a lap or a warm spot to curl up for a nap. Rather than meow, Parker squeaks when he wants something, which is so cute! He would be the perfect addition to any loving family.”
January 2020 Update from Parker’s adopter
“Hi ladybird!
It’s been a little while and I wanted to send y’all some recent pictures of the one eyed demon formerly known as Parker! We renamed him Zero: Cat of the Future (we are fans of sci-fi and fun names!) and he has an older brother named Theo from AVA. Zero spends most his time napping in his favourite chair and annoying Theo but still loves a good cuddle, wet food and attacking anything that makes a fun noise. He still has not figured out meows and mostly purts or chirps and occasionally yells if he really wants our attention. Here are some photos of him and his brother playing, napping and finding nice spots to perch!
Thank you so much for letting us welcome this little cutie into our lives, he’s brought us so much joy with his antics and cuddles.
Sid and Dan”
October 2022 Update from Parker’s adopter
“We just hit Zero’s (Parker) four year gotcha day and I thought you might wanna see what chaos he’s up to these days!
He continues to be the cuddliest, sweetest baby and makes friends with every single person who meets him. He’s asleep in my lap as I type this and has been for the last 2.5hrs. He has coped extremely well with three moves in the last year and is happily settling to our last move for the next year at least. He’s obsessed with his mummy mouse and waking us up at 3:30am and 5:30am, as well as climbing into the cupboard whenever he can. His friends say he is the ‘ ;3 ‘ emoticon embodied and love that he is eternally winking.
Thank you for all you do!
Zero’s Papa,
Sid ”
