Woody Harrelson
* Woody Harrelson found his forever home with awesome people! *
Woody Harrelson was surrendered to Hamilton Animal Services by his owner because of allergies. This handsome boy is already neutered, litter trained and he’s such a friendly guy! His foster home reports that in the short time he’s been with her, he’s flopping and binky-ing, and being super sweet. He’s a lovely bunny!
Woody had a vet appointment and received a clean bill of health. He’s now ready to find his forever home.
Here’s a report from Woody’s foster home:
“Much like his namesake, Woody Harrelson is a super chill guy and a very easy-going companion. He’s happy mostly doing his own thing but will never turn down an opportunity to cuddle – in fact, he loves being the little spoon! Like a lot of large-breed rabbits, Woody is very dog-like. He’s friendly with strangers, is super inquisitive, and has been known to get into the garbage and carry his treasures back to his bedroom to play with later. Woody isn’t at all destructive, but he likes tossing his toys around and absolutely adores running through cat tunnels. He’s a bit of a chubby bunny with a sweet tooth, so it’s important to ensure that he eats lots of hay to maintain both his figure and his teeth. He much prefers oat hay, but I’ve been mixing it in with his timothy hay to get him to eat both and he’s doing very well…although I know he misses being spoiled with treats! Woody is a solid 9 lbs, neutered, litter-trained, and looking for a home where he can continue to live that cage-free house rabbit life! He’ll reward you with the funniest big-boy binkies you’ve ever seen!”
Woody is not a fan of other rabbits, so he will need to be the only bunny in the home.
Our fostered rabbits are housed in x-pens or similar enclosures so they have lots of room to move around when they aren’t out for floor time. Some of our rabbits are free range in their foster home.
Commercially made pet store rabbit cages are far too small to allow rabbits to stretch out and move around with ease.
Here are some great websites and photos outlining alternative rabbit housing using x pens and similar enclosures.
