Timothy
* Timothy and Martin found their forever home with awesome people! *
Timothy and Martin were surrendered to Hamilton Animal Services when their owner no longer wanted them.
These boys are shy, but they’re warming up in their foster home. They’re very bonded, and you never find one without the other. We’re not sure if Timothy and Martin are brothers, but they sure do love each other!
All went well at their vet visit, and they’re now ready to find their forever home!
Here’s a report from their foster home:
“Martin was initially more shy than Timothy, but he is coming out of his shell more with each passing day. He likes to be rubbed between the ears, one of which has an adorable tiny notch in it. Martin enjoys snoozing in his hammock, turning wooden toys into kindling and eating yogurt drops and fresh apples. He’s a bit bigger and fluffier than his brother, which just means there’s more of him to love.
Timothy, recognizable by his white-striped head and endlessly twitching nose, has never met a human he doesn’t want to sniff. A fan of Cheerios and freshly-refilled water, Timothy will keep you endlessly entertained with his curious antics. He is still shy about being handled, but will walk onto your palm to fetch a snack before darting back to “safety.” He appreciates backrubs if they’re discretely given through the blanket he’s hiding under. Despite their shyness, Timothy and Martin have shown no indication of being biters, and they are getting increasingly comfortable with their human foster brothers (ages five and nine.)”
Ladybird recommends Critter Nation cages. They are hands down the most spacious, and best quality enclosure for small animals on the market. They come in single and double sizes, and can be modified and customized to create enrichment and provide comfort. Critter Nation cages are available (or can be ordered) at most local pet supply stores.
