Two days before Christmas, someone left a box outside the doors of the Hamilton SPCA during the night. Thankfully, an animal control officer who was working next door at Hamilton Animal Services, happened to notice the box as they were driving by. They stopped to investigate, and inside the box was Arlo.
Arlo was taken to Hamilton Animal Services to wait out his “stray time.”
At the shelter, Arlo was a shy guy, but friendly. His two different coloured eyes are so stunning, and he became a staff favourite for his unique look.

Last week, we were thrilled to receive a note from one of our previous rabbit adopters saying they were looking for a new addition. We told them about Arlo who was waiting to be rescued, and they said yes! Arlo went from the shelter, to the vet to be neutered, and then straight to his forever home!

Congrats Arlo! We’re so glad you’ll never know the pain of being abandoned and discarded again. You’re in for a life of love and spoiling now!
