Miso
* Miso found his forever home with awesome people! *
Miso was born to mama Margot on March 20th, 2019.
Margot did a fantastic job raising her babies. They all received a clean bill of health at the vet, they’ve been fixed, and now they’re ready to find their forever homes!
Miso and his brother Muesli were housed together for the first six months of their lives, but then they decided they didn’t want to be friends any longer. They began fighting…little spats at first, but then it turned into full blown fur-flying brawls. Unfortunately, Miso and Muesli had to be separated for their own safety. Their x-pens are now side by side, and they spend time sitting next to each other and nose nudging between the pen bars, but all attempts to re-bond them have failed. It’s likely that even though they’re neutered, they hit “puberty” and didn’t want to share personal space with another male rabbit. Sometimes, brother rabbits can get along into adulthood, but sadly that wasn’t the case with Miso and Muesli.
With proper introductions, Miso would likely take to living with a spayed female rabbit, and we’re hoping he can be adopted to a home where he could have a female friend.
Miso is a curious and adventurous boy. He loves to run, play and throw his toys around. His favourite snacks are kale and carrot and he really likes his timothy hay. Like most rabbits, Miso isn’t thrilled about being picked up, but will tolerate slow and gentle handling.
Miso has a large living space in his foster home. He’s used to having a lot of space to run and play, so we’re asking that he have a similar set up in his forever home, or be a free range bunny.

Please adopt Miso!
Our fostered rabbits are housed in x-pens or similar enclosures so they have lots of room to move around when they aren’t out for floor time. Some of our rabbits are free range in their foster home.
Commercially made pet store rabbit cages are far too small to allow rabbits to stretch out and move around with ease.
Here are some great websites and photos outlining alternative rabbit housing using x pens and similar enclosures.
