Rosanne
* Rosanne found her forever home with a lovely person! Yippee! *
June and Rosanne were surrendered to Hamilton Animal Services by their owner when they were no longer able to care for them. Sadly, after many months in their foster home, we had to let June go due to ongoing health issues that could no longer be treated. Rosanne is now alone for the first time in her life, and she would love a forever home soon to help heal her broken heart.
Here’s a report from Rosanne’s foster home:
“Baby Rosanne misses her Mama, but is getting used to being the only cat in the house. She needs a lot of snuggles and pets, and loves getting treats. She will follow you around the house when you get home and won’t stop until she gets a snuggle. Rosanne has never (as far as we know) lived with a cat other than her Mama, so we are unsure if she will do well with another cat. Se is pretty easygoing and loving, so it shouldn’t be a problem.
March 2021 update from Rosanne’s adopter, Annette:
“In April of 2020, I lost my sweet baby cat, Stella. In May, a friend sent me a photo of a cat from Ladybird Sanctuary. She was beautiful, and I found out she had just lost her cat mom. So there was an instant connection. Then I found out her name was Rosanne, named after Rosanne Cash. So, being a primarily country musician, there was another connection. I was lucky enough to be known by Ladybird co-founder, Lisa, as a great cat lover, so there was no hesitation for the adoption.
We hit it off perfectly.
Rosie has been an absolute blessing. She is incredibly affectionate, and funny, and full of personality. She brings joy to me every day, and I hope all her kitty needs are fulfilled by me as well. She is a little…plump, so I have nicknamed her Chonk, or Chonky. She doesn’t seem to mind. 🙂
Thank you to Ladybird for giving to me, the best little Chonk in the world.”
