* Fred and Barney found their forever home together with an awesome person! *

Fred and Barney came to us all the way from a shelter in Quebec. Big thank you to the One Last Chance Rescue group and the Freedom Drivers Animal Rescue Transport volunteers for getting Fred and Barney to us safely.

Fred and Barney are super cute little guys. When they arrived, they looked a bit worse for wear. Not sure what kind of care they received before ending up at the shelter, but after some love from their foster mom and a check-up at the vet, they’re feeling great. They got a clean bill of health at the vet and they’re now ready to find their forever home!

Here’s a report from their foster mom:
“Fred and Barney are sweet, friendly, happy little gerbils. They love digging, climbing, and running in their wheel. Most of all they love each other. During the day they snuggle together and sleep like they are glued together 🙂 so adorable!! At night they come out for some adventures and they are really fun to watch.
I am not sure who is Fred and who is Barney because they are identical. They both are all black and the both have little white beard and moustache markings which are identical. Even our vet couldn’t tell them apart because they even have identical weights. But they are healthy and happy and looking for an awesome home.”
