Ham
* Ham has been adopted by his foster family! Yay! We’re so happy for you Ham Man! *
Ham was found as a stray and brought into Hamilton Animal Services. He was in pretty rough shape when he arrived. He had cuts and scrapes and a lot of missing feathers. No owner came forward to claim Ham, despite being listed on lost and found websites and being posted in groups specifically for lost birds. When his stray time was up, we were happy to get Ham out of the shelter and into a foster home who have lots of parrot experience.
Ham had a vet appointment and was given a clean bill of health, other than being a bit underweight.
If you’re wondering about his name, Ham’s foster family named him that because he has quite the silly personality! He settled in at his foster home quickly and is charming everyone he meets with his sweet nature.
We’re getting hints that Mister Ham is going to end up a foster failure. 🙂
Welcome to Ladybird, Ham! We’re so happy you’re here!
