* Leroy found his forever home with a lovely family! Yay! *

Leroy ended up at Hamilton Animal Services after his owner was no longer able to care for him. We were happy to get Leroy out of the shelter and into the vet for a check-up. We got Leroy’s vaccines up to date and the vet gave him a clean bill of health. Leroy is now ready to find his forever home!

Here’s a note from Leroy’s foster mom:
“Leroy is the sweetest boy. He was very shy when he first came home, hiding under the chair for a few days. He did come out for belly scratches, though! After a few days he was more comfortable and came out for longer amounts of time.
He has only been with me for a few weeks, but he has come out of his shell so much already! We have morning cuddles before breakfast and he begs for belly rubs while dinner is being made.
He isn’t a cuddler as such, but will tolerate forced cuddles. He still prefers safe spaces (under the bed, on top of the kitchen cabinets), but is slowly becoming more and more social.
Leroy would do best in a quiet home with no other animals. He will take time to get used to his new home, so his new family will have to be patient with him until he gets comfortable. He is a sweet, calm boy who loves his belly rubs.”
