Archer
*Archer has been adopted by a lovely forever home. Congrats, Archer! We’re so happy for you.
Archer came into Hamilton Animal Services as a stray and was not claimed. It’s not likely that he escaped from his home and was found wandering. He was probably abandoned by his owners when they no longer wanted him.
Archer spent many months at HAS, and when we finally had a foster home open up, we were happy to welcome him. He’s a bit shy, but quite friendly. He was very be happy to be out of a cramped cage and into a free-roaming situation in his foster home. Archer had a vet visit and he was given a clean bill of health. He’s now ready to find his forever home!
We’ll have a report from Archer’s foster home soon.
Please adopt Archer!

Our fostered rabbits are housed in x-pens or similar enclosures so they have lots of room to move around when they aren’t out for floor time. Some of our rabbits are free range in their foster home.
Commercially made pet store rabbit cages are far too small to allow rabbits to stretch out and move around with ease.
Here are some great websites and photos outlining alternative rabbit housing using x pens and similar enclosures.
