Squeak
* Squeak found her forever home with amazing people! Yay! *
When her owners were evicted, they put Squeak into a box and abandoned her in the lobby of their apartment building. The landlord brought Squeak to Hamilton Animal Services when they discovered her in the box. It’s not known how long Squeak was boxed up alone in the lobby, but thankfully she didn’t seem too worse for wear from the ordeal.
Squeak spent a few months at the shelter, and she had been up for adoption through them for quite some time, but had no interest. The shelter is currently over capacity, and staff wanted to give poor Squeak freedom from being cooped up in a cage, so they reached out to us. When a foster home stepped up, we were happy to get this sweet girl out of the shelter. She’s loving all the space and attention at her foster home, and she is very friendly so far.
Squeak had a vet visit and was given a clean bill of health. She is now ready to find her forever home!
Here’s a note from Squeak’s foster family:
“Squeak came to us from the shelter and was so happy to be out! She is a loving, affectionate, super sweet kitty who is so ready to be loved. She is very purry, loves belly pets, head scratches and will curl up on your knee for a nap. She also loves playing and chasing balls/toys. She is very sweet natured and she will make someone a wonderful pet. Her mew is like a little squeak!”
