Animal Updates
#ForeverHomeFriday Feature
July 26th, 2024 On Fridays we’ll be posting a social media feature called Forever Home Friday (#foreverhomefriday) where we share updates and stories of our adopted animals in their forever homes. We know that our supporters (and all of us at Ladybird) just love seeing how happy rescue animals are in their forever homes. We also think this will be a great way to promote the “adopt don’t shop” movement to those new to the idea of adopting a rescue animal. Please help us spread the word so we can give even more animals a second chance at the very best life.
We know that many of our adopted animals may no longer be with us, as lots of time has passed since we started rescuing in 2010. But we encourage you to share your memories, if you feel comfortable doing so.
We’ll be selecting stories to share on Facebook and Instagram based on the quality of the stories and media (images and video). If available, please be sure to include clear images with good quality resolution (jpg, or png preferred). For an example, please click here.
We also enthusiastically welcome adoption updates, even if you prefer that we don’t share your stories and images to social media. There is a check box in the form that needs to be selected if you give us permission to share your entry.
We know that your privacy is important to you, and it’s also very important to us, so the names of you and your family members will remain anonymous, unless you indicate otherwise (ie. you’d like us to include a link to your pet’s incredibly cute dedicated instagram feed).
We thank you all for choosing to adopt a rescue animal, and allowing Ladybird to help you with that process. Having the opportunity to change lives every day is a gift that we don’t take for granted. We couldn’t do it without you all.
