Marmalade
* Marmalade found her forever home with lovely people! Woo hoo! *
Marmalade came to Hamilton Animal Services as a stray. When no owners came to claim her, Ladybird was happy to rescue her when an available foster home opened up. On her rescue day, Marmalade was spayed, had a hernia repaired, her teeth were cleaned, and she had blood work done. Thankfully the blood work came back normal, and there are no issues with her health.
Now that she’s healed up from her surgery, Marmalade is available for adoption!
Marmalade is a sweet and affectionate cat. She likes to play fetch with a specific ball, and she will bring it back every time it’s thrown for her. When she’s tired out from playing, her favourite place to be is on a lap, or sitting very close to people so she can make sure everyone is okay. Marmalade will sometimes chew on things she shouldn’t – plastic tubing for example, so her adopter will need to keep a close eye on her to be sure she isn’t chewing something she shouldn’t.
She met a neighbour’s cat in the hallway at her foster home and didn’t seem phased, so she may be okay with other cats with proper introductions.
All in all, Marmalade is a wonderful cat who will make a great companion for almost any family!
