* Cecilia and Eliza found their forever home together with a wonderful family! Woo hoo! *

Charlotte and Cecilia were rescued from a Quebec shelter. They were brought to the shelter by someone who said they had found the pigs outdoors, but shelter staff strongly suspected that person was their owner. Both pigs were visibly pregnant, and very scared. We were happy to take in these adorable girls when the shelter reached out. Charlotte and Cecilia made their way to Ontario by way of One Last Chance, and Freedom Drivers volunteers, and we’re very thankful for all the wonderful people who donate their time to transport rescued animals all across the country.

Charlotte and Cecilia had a vet visit shortly after their arrival, and the vet confirmed their pregnancies. Then on September 12th, both girls gave birth. Charlotte to two babies, and Cecilia to four. Sadly, one of Cecilia’s babies passed, but the others are healthy and thriving.

When the babies were four weeks old, both families received a clean bill of health at the vet, and the babies’ genders were confirmed. Now that the babies are weened, Charlotte and Cecilia and their babies are all available for adoption!
Cecilia and her baby Eliza are being housed together, and we’d love it if they could find their forever home as a pair.
