Nibbs
Nibbs was found as a stray and brought to Hamilton Animal Services. Nibbs was clearly well fed, he’s microchipped, and he’s been neutered so we can’t imagine that he was a true stray who wandered away from his home. Unfortunately the microchip could not be traced, and though he spent an extended time at the shelter, no owner came forward to claim him.
We were happy to get this big boy out of the shelter and into a loving foster home. He had bloodwork done, and had a very much needed bath. He was so big that he wasn’t able to clean himself properly, so his fur was very greasy and dirty. He’s been on a weight loss plan since coming into our care, and he has lost some weight. He will need to continue to help him continue to shed pounds.
Here’s a report from Nibbs’ foster family:
“He is a very sweet boy, quite independent but also loves to be close by our side. Nibbs likes to play, and he’s very good at fetch! Nibbs loves being brushed, and he enjoys naps. We don’t know how he would be around dogs, but he doesn’t seem to like other cats, so he’d be best in a home without cats. Nibbs is a very good kitty!”
Please adopt Nibbs!
