Bertha
Bertha found herself at Hamilton Animal Services as a stray. Nobody came forward to claim this sweet girl, and we were happy to get her out of the shelter and into a foster home. She’s done great there, and she’s enjoying being out of a cage and having lots of love and attention from her foster mom.
Bertha was spayed shortly after her rescue, and now that she’s healed from surgery she’s ready for her forever home!
Here’s a note from Bertha’s foster mom:
“Baby Bertha is a sweet young lady who has two modes: parkour mode in which she literally bounces off walls, chases her tail or does back flips with her toys OR: snuggle mode where she curls into the tiniest ball and naps so hard you wonder if she is alive.
She was found as a stray and waited over a month to be rescued. She settled in her foster home just fine and was soon galloping across the place – she runs really loud for such a small kitty!
After her spay and chip surgery, she healed up amazing and continued with her alternatively adorable (giving kisses and cuddling) and frustrating (why do cats love plastic so much?!) ways. She has also starting bringing her toys up on the bed in the morning in an attempt to get some extra playtime.
It is unclear how she will do with another cat, although probably fine – she is super friendly to any new people. She has not met any pups.
Her new family must remember she is only a baby and has typical kitten energy – party hard, crash hard.
Bertha is a smart, playful, snuggly little kitty who would need a family who can keep up with her and give her the love she deserves!”
Please adopt Bertha!
