Barkley was found as a stray and brought to Hamilton Animal Services. No owner came to claim him, and because the shelter is packed full with animals, they reached out to us for help. We were happy to get sweet Barkley out of the shelter and into the vet for a health check and neutering. He healed up perfectly from his surgery, and now he’s ready to find his forever home! Because guinea pigs are herd animals, we are asking that Barkley’s forever home have some other pigs there for him to be friends with.
Barkley is a chill guy. He likes to hang out in his hay pile, and he’s an expert popcorner, especially when his enclosure gets cleaned. A clean house makes him happy! Floor time is also a good time for popcorning. Barkley loves to explore.
Romaine lettuce is his favourite veggie, followed closely by green peppers. He enjoys Oxbow Rewards treats and Oxbow Vitamin C cookies.
