Wednesday we rescued Elvira.
Pretty kitty Elvira was found as a stray and found herself at Hamilton Animal Control, but no owner came for her. We’ll find her a lovely home with someone who will keep her indoors and love her forever! She’ll be available for adoption very soon…
This big old rat was brought in to Hamilton Animal Control with several other rats, most of whom were rescued by another organization. He needs a little TLC and time to recover from his ordeal of his past home life, and being at the shelter…then he’ll be available for adoption.
Today we rescued Annie, Allison, Apple, Alex and Ashton.
Annie and her babies ended up at Hamilton Animal Control by no fault of their own. They are all sneezing, and two of the kittens are very sick with an upper respiratory virus they already had when they came in to HAC. So sick that their eyes are crusted shut. Sad! They went straight to our vet for treatment and will stay there until they are ready to go to their foster home. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery!
Annie is one of the sweetest, most chilled out cats we’ve ever met. And she’s got the coolest deformed front feet we’ve ever seen! She gets around just fine on her “kinda-like-lobster-claws” feet and they don’t seem to bother her at all. She was born that way, so she doesn’t know she’s different!
Annie and her babies could really use your well wishes and donations. Vet care, medication, food and supplies for a family of five can get very expensive. You can donate here
