Please bring your cat(s) to one of the clinics in a carrier, or a box.
The benefits of the Registration with the City of Hamilton Animal Services;
- If your cat is wearing its tag, it will receive a free ride home once every 365 days if found by Animal Services Staff.
- If your cat is brought to the shelter by a member of the public, you will be notified as soon as possible.
- Animal Services will release your phone number with your permission to a finder if your cat is found by a member of the public without it having to be brought to the shelter.
- If your cat is found injured, it allows Animal Services staff to call you immediately so you can make important medical decisions regarding treatment.
- A tag and microchip means your cat will spend less time in the shelter and reduce the stress your cat may experience and minimize the risk of contracting disease.
This special initiative has been provided by the City of Hamilton in conjunction with the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA.
