Ladybird’s ultimate goal is to have a property where we can house more cats, dogs and small animals, and where we can start rescuing farm animals. Before attaining that goal, we are visiting local sanctuaries to gather as much knowledge as we can and to learn from others who are already doing what we are so looking forward to! Today, Ladybird founders Lisa, Janine and Melissa visited Cedar Row Farm Sanctuary near London, Ontario. Cedar Row has been in existence since 1999, making it one of the oldest farm sanctuaries in Ontario. They have rescued thousands of animals over this period of time, and they’re well known for their vegan bake sales. So many tasty treats!
