* Finnegan has been adopted by his foster family! Yay! *

Finnegan came into Hamilton Animal Services as a stray. When he arrived and staff put him into his cage, he drank a whole bowl of water right away. Staff checked his blood glucose levels and they were very high, so they started him on insulin. Finnegan’s mouth is horrible, and he definitely needs a dental surgery, but he has a healthy appetite.
This sweet boy became a staff favourite during his time at the shelter because of his super friendly nature. When a foster home with diabetic cat experience came forward, we were happy to rescue him!

Finnegan settled in at his foster home and he is living up the humans there. He’s not thrilled about the family dog, but he’s getting better.

Finnegan has been back and forth to the vet several times since his rescue, and we’re still working with our vets to get his health on track
