* Madison and Marcel found their forever home together with lovely people! *

Mama Margot came into Hamilton Animal Services as a stray. On February 17th, which was shortly after her arrival, Margot gave birth to five babies. Unfortunately, two of the babies passed away shortly after being born.
We were happy to rescue Margot and her remaining babies Marcel, Madison, and Morgan when a spot opened up.

Margot did a great job raising her babies, despite the fact she gave birth to a second litter on March 20th, while Morgan, Marcel and Madison were just over a month old. (!!) Turns out she wasn’t separated from the male rabbit she came into HAS with, and she got pregnant right after giving birth. (!! again!)
As rabbits do better with a friend, we’re asking Marcel and Madison be adopted together.

Here’s a note from their foster home:
“Madison and Marcel are a bonded pair who love each other very much. They can usually be found snuggled up together engaging in a good grooming session. While neither sister is keen on being picked up for cuddles, they are both friendly and will happily hop into your lap (or onto your back) in exchange for treats! In their foster home, Madison and Marcel have their own bunny-proof bedroom, but they also enjoy having the freedom to run around outside of their room and do the Bunny 500! Both girls enjoy napping in cat tents, running through tunnels, and redecorating cardboard boxes. They are in excellent health, spayed, and litter-trained! They’re an absolute pleasure to care for and have lovely personalities...”
