Minty
* Minty found his forever home with lovely people, and a new bunny friend too! *
Minty, Miso and Muesli were born to mama Margot on March 20th, 2019.
Margot did a fantastic job raising her babies, they received a clean bull of health at the vet, and now they’re ready to find their forever homes!
Minty is a wee little guy. Much smaller than his brothers. Minty gets the zoomies quite often, and does laps and binkies all over his enclosure. He’s a speedy little dude! Minty would like a forever home where there is another rabbit for him to be friends with. He enjoys head pats and scritches between his ears. Minty’s favourite snack is kale!

We love updates from our adopters!
After his adoption, little Minty was having trouble bonding with the other rabbit in his forever home. We provided some advice, and we put Minty’s adopter in touch with a previous rabbit adopter who had successfully bonded her two bunnies, so they could also give some advice. It took a bit of time, but Minty and his new bunny roommate are now best friends! Yay!
“Hi Ladybirds.
I hope you had a great new year! I just wanted to reach out to you to share an update on Gravy (formerly Minty).
Thank you so much for providing that email. Lisa was extremely helpful and I am so happy to say that Tater and Gravy have bonded! There’s still some chasing and a bit of butt nipping from him but it’s slowly decreasing and he’s been fully free roam with Tater for over a week now. They pretty much do everything together at this point and I’ve walked in on quite a few grooming/cuddle sessions. Tater’s back to doing binkies which slowed down a lot after she became free roam and my living room got less exciting lol, so I think it’s safe to say everyone is happy.
He’s just the happiest/funniest little dude, he’s the smallest out of the 3 animals but he definitely runs the house lol has such a little attitude. I’m so happy to have him.
I’ve attached a couple photos, and just wanted to say thank you so much for all your help along the way.
Have a great night,
Natalee ”
Our fostered rabbits are housed in x-pens or similar enclosures so they have lots of room to move around when they aren’t out for floor time. Some of our rabbits are free range in their foster home.
Commercially made pet store rabbit cages are far too small to allow rabbits to stretch out and move around with ease.
Here are some great websites and photos outlining alternative rabbit housing using x pens and similar enclosures.
