June
June had been with us for many months before being diagnosed with pancreatitis . A few months later, she had surgery to remove a large tumour from her pancreas. Though she showed some improvement after the surgery, her health began to decline again a few weeks later. At her last vet visit, another large mass was found in June’s abdomen. Surgery was not feasible and there were no other treatment options that would help. June was suffering, and that was the last thing we wanted. After discussion with Dr. Stubbs and June’s foster mom, the heartbreaking decision was made to let June go.
Our hearts go out to June’s foster mom, and to June’s daughter, Rosanne, who will no doubt be missing her mom.
Rest in peace Mama June. We’ll never forget you.
