We rescued Dixie from Hamilton Animal Control when she ended up there as a stray. Dixie had a deformed front leg that she would drag/hop with. Our vets decided it would be best for Dixie in the long run to have the leg amputated. Dixie had the surgery and after a few days, she was up and running like nothing had ever happened.

It didn’t take long after her surgery for Dixie to find her forever home, and we’re so happy she did!
