Buttons
*Buttons found his forever home with an awesome family! Yay!*
Buttons arrived at Hamilton Animal Services as a stray. He spent several months at the shelter, and we were happy to spring him when a foster home opened up.
Buttons is a sweet, sweet bunny! Very social and friendly. Like most rabbits, he isn’t thrilled about being picked up, but he loves to be petted.
Buttons would like a forever home where he can be part of the family. His litter box skills are perfect. A free range situation, or very large enclosure in a common area of the home would be best for him, as he’s not happy being confined or away from people. See below for examples of appropriate enclosures. Buttons is very active and curious. He will definitely require a “bunny proofed” home, as he does tend to get into things during his exploring adventures.
Looking for a friendly bunny who will give you loads of love? Buttons is your man!
Our fostered rabbits are housed in x-pens or similar enclosures so they have lots of room to move around when they aren’t out for floor time. Some of our rabbits are free range in their foster home.
Commercially made pet store rabbit cages are far too small to allow rabbits to stretch out and move around with ease.
Here are some great websites and photos outlining alternative rabbit housing using x pens and similar enclosures.
