* Ralph and Wilfred found their forever home with wonderful people! Yay! *

Ralph and Wilfred were abandoned in a box at a Walmart in Hamilton. Their nails were extremely long, and their fur was matted and dirty. They were clearly not properly cared for before they were dumped.  Hamilton Animal Services was called, and they took the pigs in.

Thankfully, we had an open foster home waiting for guinea pigs, so Ralph and Wilfred didn’t have to spend too much time at HAS. We got the pigs to the vet on their rescue day, and despite their past neglect, they are relatively healthy.

Ralph and Wilfred are now ready to find their forever home together.

Here’s a report from their foster home:
“Wilfred and Ralph are two friendly and gentle guinea pigs. Wilfred (black and orange) is brave and will do anything for some lettuce. Ralph (Black, white and brown) is a bit more shy but full of personality and extremely fluffy. We’ve never had them bite or even nibble but they like to go outside and nibble on some grass.”
