* Flo has been adopted by her foster family! Woo hoo! *

Flo came into Hamilton Animal Services as a stray, and no owner came forward to claim her.
Long term neglect was obvious. Skin condition, ear infection, rotten teeth, urinary issues…the list goes on.
When HAS reached out to us for help, we were more than happy to get Flo out of the shelter and into a loving foster home. Despite how she must have been feeling, Flo was still friendly towards everyone she met. Such sweet old soul.

Flo was back and forth to the vet many, many times for the first couple of months she was with us. Her fur did eventually start to come back, but skin issues persisted. She was finally ready to have her spay and mammary tumour removal surgery in mid-September. Then after a few more months of trips to the vet, lots of tests and medication changes, she was able to have the dental surgery she desperately needed. No more rotten teeth! Yay!

Flo’s foster family saw this sweet girl through all the ups and downs during her time with them, and when she was finally finished with all her medical issues, they asked if she should stay forever! We couldn’t ask for a better place for Flo to live out her days. Congrats on being adopted, Flo! We’re so happy for you!
