Gizmo came in to our care with her pal Lucy after being surrendered to HAC. We fell in love with this sweetheart, even though she had a very tough battle with diabetes. We learned early on that due to her age and medical condition that Gizmo would be very difficult to find a forever home for. Because of this, Ladybird happily made Gizmo a permanent resident in one of our amazing foster homes. Her foster family loved her like their own until she succumbed to her diabetes early in 2014. We are thankful for the chance to get to help her and allow her to live out her days with love and comfort. We will miss you “Izzy”!
