Walter
We’re thrilled to report that our sweet pal Walter has found a loving forever home. Congratulations, Walter! We’re so happy for you!
Walter arrived at Hamilton Animal Services as a stray. He had a microchip, but the number was out of service. Even after spending an extended period of time at the shelter, no owner came forward looking for Walter. When a foster home opened up, we were thrilled to get this sweet guy out of the shelter and into a safe and warm foster home. He spent some time at the vet shortly after his rescue to help him through some stomach trouble, but once he was switched to a GI canned food, he’s been perfect ever since. To keep any issues at bay, Walter should stay on this special diet in his forever home.
Here’s a note from Walter’s foster home:
“Walter is pretty perfect. He is a total love bug and lap cat. He will sit in your lap for hours.
Walter gets along well with the cat and dog in his foster home. Walter would love a forever home with another cat so he has someone to chase and wrestle with. Even though he is an older, chunky guy Walter loves to play.
Although Walter hasn’t been around any kids in his foster home he should be ok with them.
Walter is on a special GI canned food from the vet after he had an upset stomach when he first arrived at his foster home. His bloodwork came back normal though and this food seemed to do the trick. Walter has not had any other issues and he loves to eat.
Walter is a special cat who is ready to find a forever home. Please consider adopting this sweet guy!”
