Poppy
* Poppy found her forever home with lovely people! Yay! *
Poppy was found wandering a construction site in Hamilton. No place for a kitty! Workers there feared for Poppy’s safety, so they brought her to Hamilton Animal Services. No owner came forward to claim Poppy, and we were more than happy to get her out of the shelter and into a foster home.
What a love bug Poppy is! Such a happy kitty! We had Poppy spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and now that she’s healed from her surgery she’s ready to find her forever home!
Here’s what Poppy’s foster mom has to say about her:
“Wee Poppy is the sweetest kitten! It took her no time at all to give snuggles once she got here. She is less than a year old, so also quite playful and curious. She loves hunting toys and especially loves empty toilet paper rolls.
She sometimes takes a while to settle into a snuggle, but once she is comfy, she is there for a while. She also likes being held in your arms so she can check things out upside down.
She is young, so will get into things she shouldn’t, but she has learned quickly how to sit for food.
Poppy would do best in a home where she has someone who can play with her, as she does have a good amount of energy. She should be fine with other animals, as long as they are introduced slowly.
Poppy is a beautiful girl who will give you all the snuggles and love you could possibly need.”
