* Tex and Edna have been adopted by their foster home! Yay! *

We rescued Tex and Edna from Hamilton Animal Services. They had arrived at the shelter separately as strays, six days apart. After spending a short time at the shelter, HAS staff decided to put them together to see if they got along, and it was an instant bond.

We were happy to get Tex and Edna out of the shelter and into the vet for a check-up. Both birds received a clean bill of health, and the vet estimates they are approximately five years of age.
Tex and Edna settled in at their foster home, and they’re doing well so far! They’re very happy, chatty birds and they’re already very bonded to each other.
