* Parker found his forever home with a wonderful person! Congrats Parker! *

Parker was brought into Hamilton Animal Services as a stray. He spent a few months at the shelter, but the longer he was there, the more he showed his displeasure with being in a cage. Animal Services reached out to us for help, and we were able to get Parker out of the shelter and into a foster home.

Parker is very happy to now be in an enclosure that offers him ample space to move around, stretch out and play. And he’s enjoying all the attention from his foster family.
Now that Parker is healed from his neuter surgery, he’s ready to find his forever home!

Here’s a note from Parker’s foster family:
“Parker is a very playful rabbit with a lot of personality. He was taken in as a stray, but we think he must have been someone’s pet before as he is litter trained and has never bitten us. He has lots of energy, so he loves being let out of his pen for some supervised time to hop around the house. He also loves going outside in his pen, and eating leafy greens. We think Parker would appreciate a rabbit friend to help him get his energy out. Parker is the most wonderful rabbit I have ever cared for.”

Rabbits need lots of space…

Our fostered rabbits are housed in x-pens or similar enclosures so they have lots of room to move around when they aren’t out for floor time. Some of our rabbits are free range in their foster home.

Commercially made pet store rabbit cages are far too small to allow rabbits to stretch out and move around with ease.
