Tilia
* Tilia found her forever home with a wonderful person! Yay! *
Tilia was surrendered to Hamilton Animal Services when her owner could no longer look after her. Poor Tilia was not happy being in the shelter, so we got her out as soon as a foster home opened up.
At her vet visit, Tilia’s blood work came back normal, and she was given the go ahead to have the dental surgery she desperately needed. Now that she’s healed, she’s ready to find her forever home!
Here’s a note from her foster family:
“Tilia was surrendered due to circumstances out of the control of her former people. Tilia has absolutely been adored all of her life and is a lovely girl who knows she is the centre of the world.
Tilia has always been friendly, but since getting a much needed dental (and being in less pain) her other quirks are starting to come out. She loves head scratches and hanging out on your lap. Tilia has started to play with her toys and scratch pads and cat tree. She has recently gotten the zoomies at night and likes to tackle her cat toys up and down the hallway.
Tilia would do best in a house with no other cats or dogs. She isn’t aggressive towards the dogs in her foster home, but she doesn’t approve of them and avoids them at all costs. She hasn’t been tested with cats, but she really likes having her people all to herself. She isn’t a fan of being picked up and isn’t too worried about making her annoyance known through grumbles. For this reason, a home with no small children would be best.”
All in all, Tilia is a a lovely senior kitty who deserves nothing but the best for her retirement years.
