Molasses
* Molasses has been adopted by his foster home! Yay! *
We rescued 20 dwarf hamsters from a Quebec shelter. They were surrendered to the shelter by their owner.
They have a vet visit coming up to confirm their genders and make sure they’ll all healthy.
If the males are good to go, they’ll be made available for adoption soon after their vet appointment. We’ll be keeping the females in foster care until their gestation period is done (20 – 22 days) to be sure none of them are pregnant.
Welcome to Ladybird, wee hamsters! We’re so glad you’re here!
Hamsters need space…
Hamsters need more living space than the typical “hamster cage” you’ll find at local pet store. Here are some examples of fantastic hamster enclosures that give hamsters room to explore, burrow, and live their best hammy life!
