Bebe
* Bebe found her forever home with lovely people! Yay! *
Bebe was surrendered to Hamilton Animal Services because her owner no longer had time for her. We were more than happy to get this sweet, sweet girl out of the shelter and into a foster home.
In her previous medical history, it was noted that Bebe has been treated for heart worm and that she has a heart murmur. Our vets discovered that Bebe desperately needed some rotten teeth removed, so we did an ultrasound to be sure Bebe’s heart could handle anesthetic. The ultrasound showed that her heart would be able to stay stable while she was under, and the surgery ended up going very well. Now that she’s healed from surgery, Bebe is ready for her forever home!
Here’s a note from Bebe’s foster mom:
“ Bebe is truly the sweetest rescue. She is gentle, loving and playful. Bebe is house broken but will not tell you when it’s time- she needs to be let/taken out several times a day as she will just hold it until she’s outside. Bebe would love a home with a fenced in yard so she can zoom around safely and explore. Bebe needs guidance and attention on leash as she darts very quickly and sporadically. She loves her walks but equally loves being a snuggly couch potato. She is very low key and quiet- only peeps you’ll hear from her on a regular basis are her adorable stretches and yawns.
Bebe has some apprehensiveness and aggression towards other dogs. This is something that will need some work with slow socialization and patience. Bebe would do best in a home without other dogs because of this. Bebe is great with children and other small animals.
Bebe is an absolute joy to have around- I know how grateful I am to have spent the little time I did with her as her foster mum. Her forever home will be incredibly lucky to have this sweet girl as their newest addition to the family.”
