* Chowder, Chunk, Chippy and Chopper found their forever home together with a wonderful family! Yay! *

Chowder, Chunk, Chippy and Chopper were rescued from a Quebec shelter. Their owner surrendered them to the shelter, but we were not told the reason.
These four boys are friendly, but they are all overweight. Especially Chunk. He’s one of the biggest rats we’ve met! The boys had a vet visit, and thankfully they’re relatively healthy other than the extra weight they need to shed. Chowder had a few lumps that our vet removed, and now that he is healed from his surgery, all the rats are available for adoption! We’re asking they be adopted together or in pairs.

They come in single and double sizes, and can be modified and customized to create enrichment and provide comfort. Their design and solid manufacturing almost entirely eliminates the possibility of accidental escape. Critter Nation cages are available (or can be ordered) at most local pet supply stores.

Can’t adopt but want to help?
Monetary donations are always needed, but if you’d like to donate something specifically for the rats in our care, donations of rat food, small pet blankets (used for cage lining), rat hammocks and fleece liners for Critter Nation cages are very much appreciated!
