* Willow has been adopted by her foster family! Yippee! *

Willow was surrendered to Hamilton Animal Services because of allergies. She’s a lovely, bunny – only about a year old. When a foster home opened up, we were happy to get Willow out of the shelter and into the vet to be spayed. Everything went well with the surgery, and Willow is now settling in at her foster home. We’ll have an update once we get to know this beautiful bunny a little better.

Rabbits need lots of space…

Our fostered rabbits are housed in x-pens or similar enclosures so they have lots of room to move around when they aren’t out for floor time. Some of our rabbits are free range in their foster home.
Commercially made pet store rabbit cages are far too small to allow rabbits to stretch out and move around with ease. Here are some examples of great enclosures, and rooms set up for free roaming bunnies.
