* Autumn has been adopted by a wonderful person, and she has another kitty to be friends with! Yay! *

Autumn arrived at Hamilton Animal Services as a stray with an injured leg. The shelter sent Autumn to the vet for xrays. It was initially thought there was a slight fracture, but it was difficult to tell. Autumn was put on pain medication and she waited out her stray time at the shelter. When nobody came forward to claim her, we were happy to get Autumn out of the shelter and to our vet for treatment. By this time, Autumn was no longer limping. Our vets sent the xrays to a specialist to for their opinion, and it showed slight avulsion at the growth plate, but the leg was healing well. At Autumn’s follow up vet appointment, X-rays showed all was well with her leg! Yay! We had Autumn spayed, and now that she’s all healed from her surgery, she’s ready to find her forever home!

“Autumn has been a very fun cat who loves to be at the centre of it all. She will follow you around & help with chores or get just as excited for naps together. Autumn loves to be around her people and will cry when she feels left out.
She’s is very energetic with our household cats. At times it’s been a bit much for them as they’re special needs & can’t keep up with Autumn. She’s gotten better at playing gently but would still likely do better at a house with high energy cats who also like to stir it up a little.
She’s been excellent with strangers, including kids. This is where you’ll see the sweeter side of Autumn. She loves people and will happily introduce herself to anyone. Throw her some balled up tape or tinfoil & you can watch her play for hours. She endlessly purrs just hanging out & being around people.”
