Miller
* Miller found his forever home with awesome people! Yippee! *
Miller was stray cat who ended up at Hamilton Animal Services. Despite spending an extended time at the shelter, no owner came forward for him. We were happy to take this handsome boy in when a foster home opened up. He was very happy to be out of a cage!
We got Miller the dental surgery he desperately needed, and now that he’s healed up, he’s ready for his forever home!
Miller would do best in a home with no other cats.
Here’s a note from Miller’s foster family:
“Miller is a cuddle monster of a cat. If you are laying down he’ll want to be right there with you. The first week we had Miller he had a rough time adapting to his new environment and showed that he was a little intimidated and scared a few times. Once he settled in he was a very loving and cuddly cat though. He wakes up in the morning, and he will make sure he is on the bed with you which is sometimes counterproductive to waking up. He is extremely playful and if you are not entertaining him he will find ways to entertain himself. His favourite toys are tunnels and balls with bells in them. He will throw them everywhere and lose them though so be sure to have extras on hand. He also requires a lot of redirection on his energy as he’ll want to sharpen his claws, we recommend having as many scratching posts/cat trees as possible on hand. He also likes to calm down and lay in his bed by the window as well. He’s as calm as he is playful, with no in-between.
Overall, Miller has been a wonderful cat to foster and we believe he would be a great companion for someone who can keep up with his energy. Have a lot of toys on hand and respect his boundaries but also welcome him in when he seeks attention.”
