* Lewis and Maxwell found their forever home together with a lovely family! Woo hoo! *

Someone put two guinea pigs into a box and dumped them in a park in Hamilton. Thankfully, they were discovered and taken to Hamilton Animal Services before any harm came to them.  Shockingly, the pigs were in pretty good shape, despite what they went through. HAS reached out to us for help, and we were happy to take in these two lovely piggies that we have named Lewis and Maxwell.

Lewis and Maxwell and Lewis had a vet visit and received a clean bill of health. We had them neutered, and the recovered perfectly from their surgeries. They’re now ready to find their forever home!

Here’s a note from their foster home:
“Lewis and Maxwell are two of the most adorable little boys that you’ll ever meet!With their crazy bedhead, these munchkins have tons of personality and are so much fun to watch and cuddle.Maxwell will be the first to investigate anything new and always runs up to greet you and see if you’re bringing him anything good to eat! Lewis is a bit more reserved when you come into the room and might run to his hut, but he will be the first to let you pick him up for a smooch!
Both boys loooove their vegetables and will definitely let you know when it’s time for their nightly salad buffet… they’re certainly not too shy to ask!And they love nothing more than getting a new pile of hay, even if they already have plenty! In fact, Lewis will popcorn around when you add some and then dive into the middle of it all for a snack.
These two beautiful boys are always on the go and love to play – they’re the best of friends. They would make an amazing addition to any family who would like to shower them with love, attention and veggies!”
