Socrates
* Socrates found his forever home with lovely people and another cat to be friends with! Yay! *
Aristotle, Plato, and Socrates were found under a porch and brought to Hamilton Animal Services. We were happy to get these sweethearts out of the shelter and into the safety of a foster home.
The kittens have done wonderfully in their foster home over the past few weeks. They’ve now had their kitten vaccines, and they’ve been neutered and microchipped. Aristotle, Plato, and Socrates are now they’re ready for their forever homes!
If there are no other cats in the adoptive home, we’ll be asking the kittens be adopted in pairs.
Here’s a note from their foster dad:
“Aristotle is the smallest of the three brothers, and his adorable face, soft fluffy fur, and small size certainly go along with his personality. Affectionate and fond of cuddles, Aristotle loves his foster family. He is at times bold and slightly mischievous and at other times a total baby who just wants to be held and petted into a blissful, purring sleep. Even though he is smaller than his brothers he can certainly hold his own when wrestling, although we secretly suspect he will end up losing on purpose when someone is watching so they will rescue him with cuddles.
Plato is in the middle in size, and his sleek fur can be perfectly in place while still giving the impression that he is somehow disheveled in a seemingly intentional bed-head. Although he seems quiet and innocent, his meow can be surprisingly powerful when he is passionate about something (usually food) and he has always had the loudest purr of the siblings. He loves chasing his brothers, chasing a toy, or just aimlessly chasing something that only he can see.
Don’t let Socrates’ size fool you – although he is the largest of the brothers and is quick to remind his smaller siblings of that fact, he is almost always a complete push over of a kitten. His soft fur is a joy to pet until he has a nice purr going, and his curious personality will have him racing to look out of newly opened blind or peak behind a usually closed door. He will always greet his foster family by smelling their shoes or feet, and while his youthful kitten energy doesn’t often give out he favours snuggling beside a sibling or a person when it does.
All three of these cats are sweet and wonderful and would love to be the newest edition to your family.”
Want to help? Monetary donations are always needed, but donations of Royal Canin kitten food (canned and dry), and newspaper based pellet litter for the kittens would be very much appreciated!
