* Frito and Miss Vickies found their forever home together with a wonderful person! Yay! *

Mama Tot and her four babies were rescued from a shelter in Quebec. They, along with many other guinea pigs, were surrendered to the shelter by their owner because they had too many animals. Mama Tot was very pregnant when she arrived at the shelter, and she gave birth on June 7th.
This little family came to us via Freedom Drivers volunteers, and we’re very thankful for all the wonderful people who donate their time to transport rescued animals all across the country.

Mama Tot, Miss Vickies, Frito, Tostito, and Dorito did very well in their foster home. They have a very large space to explore, and the babies were already running around and popcorning shortly after they arrived. They’re so adorable, we can’t stand it!
After a few weeks, the little family had a vet visit and they were given a clean bill of health. Thankfully, all the babies are females, so nobody had to be separated out from their mom and siblings.
Mama Tot and her babies are now ready to find their forever homes! They must be adopted in pairs or trios if there are no other guinea pigs in the adopter’s home to bond to.

Mama Tot is friendly and curious, and will take snacks from your hand. Frito is the smallest of the babies, and she is the most brave and calm when it comes to being handled. Tostito has the hilarious hair, and she’s the shyest. Dorito is a lot like her sister Tostito, minus the crazy hair. And Miss Vickies is a look-alike to her mom. They enjoy their daily veggie snacks, and playing hide and seek in their hay pile.
